Greg Smith is Director, Food & Beverage at Halifax Convention Centre. He leads the food and beverage team in all aspects of the department. Greg is responsible for ensuring service standards are followed and promoting and maintaining the highest level of customer service to all guests.
Greg has spent over 40 years in the hospitality business, bringing extensive knowledge of wines and mixology and experience with menu development and service of those menus. He is Past President of the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS) and was distinguished with the association’s first life-time achievement award in 2002. Greg also served as Chair of the Atlantic Provinces Motel, Hotel and Food Services Exposition (APEX).
