The Age-Friendly Employer certification demonstrates that Events East maintains recruitment and retention practices specifically designed to capitalize on the expertise of professionals in the 50+ demographic. It also reaffirms Events East’s commitment to creating an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming workplace for our teams and guests.

In achieving this certification, Events East collaborated closely with the Age-Friendly Institute to address key business metrics such as recruitment efficiency, productivity measures, and reduced training costs. The comprehensive evaluation covered 12 categories of recognized best practices that drive organizational performance through strategic workforce management. By actively recruiting professionals over 50, Events East has expanded its talent pipeline by 37% while reducing onboarding costs by 22% compared to industry averages.
