Scotiabank Centre announces Aramark Canada as new Food & Beverage service provider
Aramark Canada has been selected as the exclusive food and beverage services provider for Scotiabank Centre’s concessions program following a comprehensive competitive procurement process. The five-year terms commence on August 1, 2025, with the option to renew for an additional five years.
“We know that food and beverage is a key part of the fan experience at Scotiabank Centre,” said Suzanne Fougere, Executive Vice-President of Events East Group, the organization responsible for operating, maintaining and managing Scotiabank Centre. “As an expert in food and beverage offerings in the sports and entertainment industry, we are confident that Aramark Canada will provide services that will help us continue to evolve our fan experience.”
Events East issued a request for proposals in fall of 2024. Qualifying factors for successful applicants included: approach to partnership, demonstrated expertise in the industry, ability to deliver exceptional fan experiences, competitive financial terms, and strong corporate responsibility practices. With a focus on community and sustainability in its operations, Aramark Canada aligns with Scotiabank Centre’s commitments to supporting the community and delivering memorable experiences for fans.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Scotiabank Centre and bring our passion for hospitality to fans in Halifax,” said Alison Birdwell, President & CEO of Aramark Sports + Entertainment. “We share a strong commitment to community and creating unforgettable moments, and we can’t wait to be part of the energy at every event.”
Aramark Canada began operations at Scotiabank Centre throughout the summer in preparation for a busy fall season of events, including multiple concerts and entertainment events, the 2025-2026 regular seasons of the Halifax Mooseheads and the Halifax Thunderbirds, and the 2025 Canadian Curling Trials in November.
