The season officially gets underway with the Halifax Mooseheads Home Opener on September 19 against the Moncton Wildcats, marking the return of hockey to downtown Halifax and the start of another exciting year at Scotiabank Centre.

"We are thrilled to welcome fans back as we continue to bring world-class experiences to our community while contributing to the vibrancy and economic growth of our province," says Suzanne Fougere, President & CEO of Events East Group. "This season reflects the diversity of our audience and our commitment to delivering unforgettable moments for fans of all ages. Whether you're a sports fan, concertgoer, comedy lover or looking for family-friendly entertainment, there truly is something for everyone at Scotiabank Centre this season!"

The 2026-27 season features an impressive mix of entertainment, including performances by The Black Keys, Dean Brody & The Reklaws, Amanda Marshall and Hilary Duff. Fans can also look forward to comedy from Jimmy Carr, family favourites including Disney on Ice, and interactive live experiences such as The Price Is Right Live!.

Sports will remain at the heart of the season with the return of the Halifax Mooseheads and Halifax Thunderbirds, alongside marquee events including the 2027 AUS Basketball Championships and the 2027 USPORT Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

For nearly 50 years, Scotiabank Centre has served as a gathering place for Atlantic Canadians and a catalyst for economic activity in downtown Halifax.

Since 2018, the venue has hosted more than 600 events, welcoming almost three million fans and generating approximately $230M in economic impact. This year's event lineup is expected to generate more than $50 million in economic impact alone.
