President, Scotia Recycling Ltd.

Norm Mensour is currently President of Scotia Recycling Ltd, based out of Hantsport, NS. He joined the Scotia Investments Family of Companies in January 2021. Since 1976, Scotia Recycling Ltd, a locally held company, has become Atlantic Canada’s leader in collection, processing & marketing of recyclable materials. Sustainability and environmental stewardship are key pillars in their evolution.

Prior to his current role at Scotia Recycling, Norm held senior management roles with Labatt, Big Erics, & Envirosystems. Norm obtained his doctorate in Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario. Norm has sat on a number of other boards including the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce in Nova Scotia, Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia, the Waegwoltic Club Halifax & Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women and Song.
