Suzanne is Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development at Events East. As a key member of the executive team, she is responsible for overseeing the delivery of our business development strategy for both Scotiabank Centre and Halifax Convention Centre, as well as full integration of marketing and sales activities, and the primary partnerships needed to grow our business and reputation. An award-winning marketing communications practitioner, Suzanne is a senior strategist with a proven ability to conceive and deliver solutions that support organizational growth. 

She has served on the Board of Directors of Fusion Halifax, the Organizing Committee of the Blue Nose Marathon, the Local Engagement Committee for East Coast Music Awards 2018, and the Host Committee of Rendezvous-Canada 2018. She currently serves as a Director with the Atlantic Chapter of Kids Up Front.  A graduate with distinction of Mount Saint Vincent University’s Bachelor of Public Relations Program, she holds a Certificate in Marketing and attended the Institute of Communications and Advertising. In 2016, Suzanne was the recipient of the inaugural Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) Nova Scotia Communicator of the Year Award for her work on the marketing and sales strategy for the newly opened Halifax Convention Centre.
