Regional Vice-President, Atlantic, National Conservancy of Canada

Julie is the Regional Vice-President, Atlantic for the Nature Conservancy of Canada, where she leads conservation, stewardship, partnerships, philanthropy and regional operations across the four Atlantic provinces.

Prior to joining NCC, Julie spent more than 25 years with Parks Canada, including over a decade in executive leadership roles at the local, regional and national levels. Most recently, as Executive Director of National Operations and Programs, she provided strategic leadership for national operations, organizational transformation, emergency management, business planning and major investment priorities across the country.

Her career has combined leadership in tourism, conservation, complex operations, governance and partnership development, with extensive experience working across government, Indigenous organizations, community and stakeholder environments. She has served on numerous boards and advisory committees, including the Halifax Integrated Tourism Master Plan Advisory Board.

Julie lives in Halifax with her family and enjoys spending time outdoors and experiencing the natural beauty of Atlantic Canada.
